Teslas have been under attack recently by folks across the US and even the vehicles' owners, but one Texas man has taken things up a notch, well, kind of. The man in question was arrested on Tuesday after he was caught ramming his ATV into a parked Tesla due to the Tesla activating its cameras via Sentry Mode.
It's believed that the 33-year-old man damaged numerous Teslas in the city of Texarkana, Texas. Although, how much damage he could do with his raggedy ATV is questionable. Some reports state that the suspect was driving at "full speed" when he hit the Tesla that captured the incident, and if that's true, well, he needs a new ATV.
The Texan was probably lucky his ATV has what looks like a single-digit top speed because he rammed the Tesla head-on. If he was riding a decent ATV that could hit a respectable top speed, he would've ended up plowing face-first into the side of the Tesla.
Of course, he wasn't wearing a helmet, but that's not the worst part.
Check out where the gas tank is on this mini ATV. That's right, at the very front. If this serial rammer was able to get up enough speed to do any serious damage, there's a possibility that he could've blown up himself, his ATV, and whatever Tesla he was hitting at the time.
According to police reports, the man was arrested after he was seen riding the ATV in a neighborhood near the scene of the incident. He faces felony criminal mischief charges and is currently being held at a local jail.
He's probably staring at his cell bars saying, "And I would've gotten away with it too if it wasn't for that damn Sentry Mode." If you were the judge, what punishment would you give this Texan?
