Watch Loyle Carner give ES Magazine an exclusive tour of his pop-up art gallery

Loyle Carner is celebrating the release of his new album, "Not Waving, But Drowning", with a week-long art exhibition at House of Vans in London.

He spoke exclusively to ES Magazine and gave us a sneak peak at some of the art work by the Connor Brothers and Damien Hirst, which feature in the exhibition.

The south London rapper, whose real name is Ben Coyle-Larner, has often used his voice to champion philanthropic causes; he founded a cookery school for children with ADHD last year and has been outspoken about gender equality and mental health.

To promote his new record, Carner decided to put together the exhibition to showcase the artwork of friends and family members, including his mum Jean, who also features on the album.

After the exhibition some of the art will be auctioned off and all proceeds with be donated to the male suicide prevention charity CALM.

To celebrate the album release and gallery opening, Loyle Carner is hosting a balloted event at House of Vans tonight (April 18), with a rumoured performance by Jorja Smith, who sings on the song "Loose Ends".

Watch the video above to see our exclusive look at the exhibition.

The exhibition will be on display until Sunday, April 28 at House of Vans and the album "Not Waving, But Drowning" is released on April 19. (Broody © Damien Hirst)
