Leonard Fournette’s younger brother, Lanard Fournette, has left the LSU football team mid-season.
ESPN first reported the news Wednesday and while the Tigers’ athletic department and football program have no formally addressed the report, the link to Lanard’s bio on the team website is inactive and he is no longer listed on the team’s roster.
Fournette carried the ball 13 times for 36 yards this season. The 22-year-old had 31 rushing attempts for 162 yards and two touchdowns over the course of his four-year career.
Already an LSU graduate, Fournette “just wants to move on with his life,” according to ESPN’s article.
