Friday’s practice “play of the day” is a no-doubter. Lamar Jackson connecting on a deep ball to Zay Flowers is exactly what Baltimore Ravens fans want to see over and over this training camp.
As it’s the Ravens, you can feel confident they will be dominant in running the football.
Given the franchise’s storied history, you know they will be excellent defensively, too.
It’s the passing game, or at least its vertical component, that is a question mark.
Will Zay Flowers be the proper number-one wide receiver? Will he consistently stretch the opposing defenses?
Will Lamar Jackson reliably link up with him? From the looks of the video of this play below, yes.

Jackson and Flowers have been further developing their chemistry this training camp, and this play on Friday is a prime example.
Getting the deep passing game sorted out is the key to Jackson potentially becoming the greatest ever and the Ravens winning the Super Bowl.
Legendary Hall of Famer Steve Young articulated this point perfectly a couple of months ago.
The NFL 100, a poll of players within the league, ranked Jackson the #2 overall best player. Only Miami wide receiver Tyreek Hill came in ahead of him.
