Kyle Brandt of Good Morning Football rewards one player a week in his “Angry Runs” segment. This week, he decided to celebrate David Njoku’s 23-yard catch and run. In an epic rant, Brandt narrates Njoku’s march down the field that put the Browns outside the red zone. Brandt reminded viewers that humans, nor fire, can stop the fierce Njoku.
Brandt had multiple Browns plays that he could choose the angry run from. The Browns entered Baltimore and bullied the Ravens for the full 60 minutes. The second-most memorable run of the game was when the entire offense pushed Jerome Ford 13 yards in the game’s waning moments. The run was the best sign of team unity I have ever witnessed by a Browns team.
It’s refreshing to see the members of the national media celebrate the Cleveland Browns. The team is slowly gaining admirers in the national media after the team proved they belong among the upper echelon of NFL teams. Unfortunately, few of those admirers have gone public. That’s what makes Brandt’s unbridled enthusiasm so fulfilling to hear as a fan.
