Keion White looked completely ice cold when his name was called off the draft board on Friday night as the newest member of the New England Patriots.
At an event that’s typically filled with celebration and tears of excitement, it looked like it was just another day at the office for White, who was all business after being selected 46th overall in the 2023 NFL draft.
It was no different than the player ACC teams saw on the football field in the 2022 season, when the standout defensive end compiled 7.5 sacks and 14 tackles for a loss to wrap up his collegiate career.

The Patriots are putting a lot of focus on the defensive side of the ball early in the draft with White and Oregon cornerback Christian Gonzalez being the top-two selections.
That’s quite the haul for a Patriots defensive unit that was already one of the best in the league.
