Kansas City Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney scored his first career touchdown in the Week 10 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After marching down the field in just four plays, the Chiefs busted out some trickery in the red zone on their fifth play. They sent Kadarius Toney in motion across the formation to the short side of the field. Isiah Pacheco goes the opposite direction with Patrick Mahomes looking left. No Jaguars defender goes with Toney, who Mahomes quickly comes back to.
Mahomes throws the ball to Toney, but that’s when something funny happens. Toney’s momentum takes him toward the sideline and he was at risk of running out of bounds. In order to catch himself and get balanced, Toney hopped his way into the end zone on one leg.

We suspected that the Chiefs would yield some of Mecole Hardman’s red zone work to Toney with the veteran receiver ruled out. That seems to be the case in their lone red zone passing snap so far.
This wasn’t just his first touchdown in Kansas City, but it was his first career NFL score after spending 1.5 seasons with the New York Giants. Let’s hope that it’s the first of many with his new team.
