One of the biggest stories that Kansas City Chiefs fans are following this offseason is the progress made by WR Justyn Ross.
An undrafted free agent in 2022, Ross spent the entirety of last season on injured reserve with a foot injury. The former Clemson Tiger has seen both his college and professional career stifled by injuries, but the hope is that he’ll be fully healthy for the 2023 NFL season.
We’ve not seen any official word or updates from the team on Ross and his status, but he is among the receivers down working out with Patrick Mahomes in Texas. Starcade Media’s Noah Gronniger screen captured a video taken by Preston Smith Photography, which was shared by Mahomes on Instagram. Mahomes is seen throwing a nice spiral to Ross at the TCU training facilities.

This is certainly a good sign that Ross is back healthy and ready to get involved. He, of course, has plenty of work to do to ensure that he makes the 53-man roster, but it’s good to see that he’s taking advantage of some of the downtime this offseason with Mahomes down in Texas. It certainly won’t hurt his chances of becoming a contributor for this team down the line.
