Another day, another Justin Jefferson highlight.
After making a handful of highlight plays during training camp yesterday, Jefferson made another highlight reel-worthy catch during Saturday’s session.
The Minnesota Vikings posted a play on Twitter that included an impressive grab against defensive back Akayleb Evans. After making the catch, Jefferson then hit the griddy, a signature move of his following touchdowns.

Since entering the NFL in 2020, Jefferson has emerged as one of the league’s premier wide receivers. Last season, Jefferson led the NFL in receiving yards, totaling 1,809 yards and eight touchdowns on 128 receptions. Following the season, Jefferson was named the Associated Press offensive player of the year.
Now, Jefferson will look to break a milestone that no wide receiver has done yet: eclipsing 2,000 receiving yards. Two players have reached 1,900 yards, with Calvin Johnson earning 1,964 yards in 2012, the most in NFL history.
Jefferson would need to average 12 more yards per game in 2023 to reach that number.
