It only took one play for this defense to make a play against the Houston Texans. On the very first play of the game, John Johnson III picked off Texans’ quarterback Kyle Allen as a pass bounced off of the hands of his intended target for the Cleveland Browns.
The play had to be challenged by head coach Kevin Stefanski, but the officials got it right as quarterback Deshaun Watson operated his first drive of the game. Unfortunately, the offense went three-and-out and was not able to capitalize on the opportunity created by Johnson III. Stay tuned for more in-game updates.
