Joe Lycett has revealed David Beckham’s representatives have contacted him after he pretended to shred £10,000.
Last month, the comedian issued an ultimatum to the former England captain where he called for Beckham to pull out of his deal – reportedly worth £10 million – with Qatar, where homosexuality is illegal.
If the former England captain did not pull out of the deal, Lycett said he would shred £10,000.
The following day, the comedian filmed himself shredding wads of money although it was later revealed that he had in fact donated it to an LGBTQ+ charity.
