Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had to take control of the crowd on the first day of training camp during an autograph-signing session.
Burrow told reporters after practice that he had to stop signing things and ask everyone to stand back because some of the kids up front were potentially getting pushed too much.
“There were some grown men pushing some kids to get up front,” Burrow said in footage captured by WCPO’s Caleb Noe.
While not the biggest deal in the world (and folks at the front getting pushed against barricades is common at most events like concerts, WWE and more), it says a lot about Burrow that he saw what was happening to the kids and took control.
