The Jets have come out of the gate hot in the Jeff Ulbrich era and Garrett Wilson has benefited.
After a field goal on their first drive of the game to take a 3-0, the Jets went down 7-3 as the Bills responded with a score of their own.
But not so fast said Wilson and quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
On a third down in the red zone, Rodgers connected with Wilson for a touchdown. It was not easy.
Wilson toe-tapped the back of the end zone for the score. It was initially called out of bounds, however, it was so clearly in bounds that the NFL did not even let the Jets use a timeout. They overruled it from the league’s HQ.
The Jets hold a 10-7 lead in the first quarter thanks to the score.
