The Ohio State football creative team has been blessing us all this offseason with a series on social media titled, “Tradition Talk.” It takes a current player and member of the football staff and sits them down to have a discussion about some of the best players and traditions in the history of Ohio State in a 1:1 intimate setting inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
The latest round of the series involved current Ohio State defensive end, Jack Sawyer, and Assistant Athletic Director for Player Development and External Affairs, C.J. Barnett. Barnett, of course, also had his time in a Buckeye uniform so can relate to the players.
The duo sat down to discuss their best four or five players that came from the state of Ohio as well as what some of the best traditions at Ohio State are, and what it means to play for the Buckeyes.
In case you didn’t get to watch the video, it only takes about ten minutes of your time and is interesting. So hit play and sit back and be perhaps a little surprised by who they mention as the best from the state to play in the scarlet and gray before they start to talk about the brotherhood and atmosphere of playing on the banks of the Olentangy.
