Is Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jayson Tatum legitimately a candidate for the league’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for the 2021-22 regular season? Tatum has of course been a central part of the Celtics’ surprise resurgence in the second half of the season after Boston started things off on the wrong foot under new head coach Ime Udoka. But has the St. Louis native shown enough in recent weeks to be worthy of inclusion in any serious debate over the league’s MVP race?
