WATCH: Ipswich Town 1-1 Manchester United Highlights

Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw away at Ipswich Town in Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge on Sunday evening, and you can find the full match highlights below.

Amorim’s First United Game Ends In Stalemate

Ready to embark on a new era under Ruben Amorim, Manchester United returned to Premier League action in Gameweek 12 with a trip to Suffolk to take on newly promoted Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

Eager to impress their new boss, the Red Devils wasted no time in taking the lead, with Marcus Rashford turning home his second league goal of the campaign after less than 90 seconds from Amad Diallo’s cross.

A seemingly perfect start, the visiting supporters were in dreamland. That positive feeling would soon start to dwindle however, as the Tractor Boys started piling the pressure on United’s defence.

The hosts were rewarded for said pressure just before half-time, and they were rewarded in some style. Former Chelsea and Arsenal academy star Omari Hutchinson cut inside on his favoured left foot and released a thunderous effort past Andre Onana into the top left corner to restore the parity.

Both sides had opportunities to snatch all three points in the second period, but it wasn’t to be, with Amorim’s first game in charge as Manchester United boss ending in a 1-1 stalemate.

It’s a result that sees Ipswich extend their unbeaten run to three straight matches, however, due to other results, they drop down to 18th place in the table, while United are now unbeaten in five across all competitions and occupy 12th place, just three points adrift of the top six.

Next up for Ipswich is a trip to the Midlands to take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground next Saturday. Three days later, they welcome Crystal Palace to Portman Road in a crucial clash towards the bottom of the table.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are back in action on Thursday evening as they take on Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League before welcoming Everton to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.
