Watch: Ibrox flop assists Rangers supporter Oli McBurnie for first La Liga goal

Rangers flop Fabio Silva brilliantly assisted Oli McBurnie for his first La Liga goal yesterday.

The striker is a known supporter of the Ibrox club and finally got off the mark in Spain's top flight as Las Palmas were beaten 3-1 by Real Sociedad.

McBurnie joined the Gran Canarian outfit from Sheffield United in the summer transfer window.

Silva, who played 25 times for Rangers on loan from Wolves in 2024, also made the move to Las Palmas just over a year ago.

The pair combined brilliantly as their team halved the deficit against Sociedad yesterday, only for Jon Aramburu to later seal the points for the visitors.

Regardless, it was a fine goal as Silva flashed across the face and found McBurnie at the back stick:

Las Palmas currently sit second-bottom of La Liga, four points away from safety with eight games to go.

They next face Getafe before hosting Atletico Madrid, and then a trip to play Rangers' upcoming Europa League opponents, Athletic Club, lies in wait.

The Basque outfit travel to Ibrox for the first leg of the quarter-final tie on Thursday as Barry Ferguson's men look to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat to Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
