The Boston Celtics have changed how they played considerably since the start of the 2021-22 NBA season to result in a league-leading defense and a top-10 offense, but to date, there has been a lot more attention being paid to the results of that play on the court than how the proverbial sausages get made in terms of what it is that the Celtics are doing differently.
But as is their wont over at the popular nerdy NBA podcast “Thinking Basketball”. host of the podcast Ben Taylor dove into the “x”s and “o”s of how Boston has played in recent months, becoming something of a juggernaut in the Eastern Conference at exactly the right time to maximize its impact.
