The Chicago Bears wrapped the first week of training camp on Saturday during the NFL’s Back Together Weekend. There have been some standout players and highlights abound during the first four practices of the summer.
On Saturday, there was a heavy emphasis on red zone, which saw mixed results from those in attendance. But it’s clear the offense has been operating at a higher level than at this time last July, which is encouraging for the upcoming season.
The Bears shared highlights from Saturday’s practice, which included quarterback Justin Fields connecting with tight end Cole Kmet, wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown and running back Trestan Ebner, as well as cornerback Greg Stroman picking off a P.J. Walker pass intended for rookie receiver Tyler Scott.
