Watch: Here’s the player entrance at Marco Simone Golf Club for the 2023 Ryder Cup

It’s almost time.

The highly anticipated 2023 Ryder Cup is almost here, with the three-day biennial competition between 12 of the best Americans against 12 of the best from Europe starting on Friday.

But it’s never too early to start the hype train. Golfers from both sides are on the course at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome on Monday for practice rounds.

The grandstands have been in place for a while now, with the first hole in particular awaiting the raucous fanbase to arrive. There’s nothing like the player entrance to the first hole at a Ryder Cup.

Golfweek‘s Eamon Lynch is on-site and captured a walking tour of what that entrance will look like. Of course, it’ll be much crazier once fans are also in the area.
