A Spartans legend found the endzone in his season-opener on Sunday.
Former Michigan State running back Kenneth Walker recorded his first touchdown of the 2024 NFL season on Sunday. Walker rushed for a 23-yard touchdown run in the third quarter of the game to give the Seattle Seahawks a lead over the Denver Broncos.
Walker starred for the Spartans in his lone season at Michigan State in 2021. He was a Heisman candidate and helped lead the Spartans to an 11-2 record that season along with a Peach Bowl championship. Walker is now in his third season in the NFL after the Seahawks drafted him in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
