The Atlanta Falcons hit the ground running when training camp began last week. With so many new faces to integrate and a new coaching staff, the team couldn’t afford to waste any time. The Falcons have already wrapped up five practices, including their first padded practice on Tuesday morning.
Team owner Arthur Blank met with the media following Tuesday’s practice to discuss the start of training camp. Blank said he was excited for the 2024 season but disappointed about the previous six years.
“The last six years have not been up to my standards and up to the standards of the building and our fans,” said Blank. “Yet, inside the stadium, it’s been a great experience. It’s a blessing to our fans that we’ve been voted by their actions and our support, the No. 1 place in the NFL to watch and experience the game.”
Blank also said he felt bad that the team isn’t able to open training camp to the fans this year but expects open practices to return in 2025. Watch the Falcons owner’s full Tuesday press conference below:
