Netflix will drop the new series Quarterback on Wednesday, a show that features Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, the Vikings’ Kirk Cousins and now Eagles quarterback but former Falcons player Marcus Mariota.
Two days before the show’s premiere, Netflix released the first four minutes of the show on social media, which starts with a scene of Cousins reading Sports Illustrated Kids‘ “Book of Why” with his son.
Based on this look, the show doesn’t just capture footage of the quarterbacks on the field, but also with their families and at home. Fans will also get to see how each quarterback prepares every week for the game ahead.
One specific scene fans may be anticipating is when Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain against the Jaguars. The Kansas City star refused to leave the game until the team gave him an ultimatum. His injury became quite the saga during the postseason.
