Five Star England Breeze Past Ireland
The first half of England vs Ireland was void of any real chances and compared to the second half, it was a fairly dull watch.
Tempers did threaten to boil over in stoppage time after a Harry Kane foul, as the England captain hauled Jayson Molumby to the floor with the ball nowhere near either of them. Kane was cautioned and spoken to but nothing more came of the foul.
Just minutes into the second half the game finally saw some action, as Liam Scales was shown a second yellow card for bringing down Jude Bellingham inside the box.
As usual Harry Kane was handed responsibility of the spot kick and after a stuttered run up, the England captain fired home the game’s first goal.
After scoring their first England really kicked into gear and they were able to score a second almost immediately after, as they began to make the man advantage count.
A deflection carried Tino Livramento’s cross perfectly to Anthony Gordon at the back post and the Newcastle forward volleyed past Caoimhin Kelleher from close range for his first international goal.
England showed no sign of slowing down after their first two goals and in the 62nd minute Marc Guehi flicked a corner into the six yard box where Conor Gallagher and Bellingham were both waiting to score.

Gallagher snuck just in front of Bellingham to poke in for the goal, scoring his first international goal on his 21st appearance for the Three Lions.
A clever corner routine led to the Three Lions’ fourth in the match as the rout continued, with substitute Jarrod Bowen getting on the scoresheet just seconds after coming on.
1930 – In Anthony Gordon, Conor Gallagher, Jarrod Bowen, and Taylor Harwood-Bellis, four players have scored their first England goal in the same game for the first time since October 1930 v Northern Ireland (Harry Burgess, Jimmy Hampson, Sammy Crooks, Eric Houghton). Taylor Harwood-Bellis capped off a five star performance for England with just ten minutes left, as the Southampton defender headed in his first international goal on debut.
