The veteran Danish goalkeeper was awarded UEFA's Player of the Match award for his performance, although, in the end, his saves weren't enough to steer Celtic into the last 16 of the Champions League.
They will now turn their attention back to domestic action, with two trophies still to compete for before the season's end.
Brendan Rodgers' men are 13 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership with 12 games to go and have a home tie against Hibernian to make it to the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
They face David Gray's side this weekend in league action, aiming to get back to winning ways after Bavarian heartache.
