The New England Patriots had brought the Miami Dolphins’ fourth-quarter lead down to just seven points with a JuJu Smith-Schuster touchdown with less than nine minutes to go.
Miami got the ball, knowing they didn’t want to give possession back to New England with a chance to tie the game or take the lead.
They drove down the field, setting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa up to find a wide-open Jaylen Waddle for a 31-yard catch and run.
