Democratic Reps. Barbara Lee, Katie Porter and Adam B. Schiff participate in a candidate forum on Oct. 8 in Los Angeles at the National Union of Healthcare Workers’ annual leadership conference. The forum for the three leading candidates vying to become the next senator from California is sponsored by NUHW, Courage California and Roll Call. Lisa Matthews of The Associated Press is the moderator. After the forum, NUHW members were to vote on the union’s endorsement.
