Georgia tight end Darnell Washington was already having a fantastic day at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine before he provided one of the best highlights of the entire event so far.
During a goal-line fade drill Saturday, Washington went airborne to make an incredible one-handed catch, keeping both feet in-bounds to finish off the grab.
After measuring in at a massive 6-foot-7 and 264 pounds, Washington ran his 40-yard dash in 4.64 seconds (sixth among tight ends), and turned in the fastest 20-yard short shuttle of any player at his position.
Don’t be surprised if Washington crashes the first round after that performance.
