Darius Slay has his own YouTube show and deserves the on-screen attention because the Eagles veteran cornerback is undoubtedly the funniest player in the NFL.
Slay and DeVonta’s Smith’s back-and-forth banter is epic. Lately, he’s been turning his attention to Philadelphia’s young defensive backs. During one recent practice, a mic’d up, Slay hilariously trolled Quinyon Mitchell for being unable to catch and questioned why Cooper DeJean would want to live in frigid Iowa.

The Eagles started the season 2-2. Still, the lights went on defensively when Cooper DeJean entered the starting lineup. The rookie out of Iowa missed time during training camp and preseason with a soft tissue injury.
Mitchell has been lights out since Day 1, and both players have made Philadelphia’s veteran and captain very happy. Earlier this season, on a random Friday after practice, while talking to John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Slay jokingly referred to the young duo as “his children,” praising both players.
