WATCH: Colts’ CB Kenny Moore with interception vs. Broncos

Colts’ cornerback Kenny Moore came away with an interception in the Colts’ preseason opener against the Denver Broncos.

Coming away with this interception was a group effort. On a second and 20, rookie defensive end Laiatu Latu pressured quarterback Jarrett Stidham who then threw to running back Samaje Perine in the flat.

It looked like Perine started to turn upfield before fully securing the ball, and as he often is, linebacker Zaire Franklin was nearby to further complicate things for the Denver running back. With the ball being batted around, Moore was in position to make the interception.

An offer for Colts fans

Moore is now in this eighth NFL season and signed a three-year deal in the offseason to remain with the Colts through the 2026 season.

Throughout his career, Moore has been very durable, playing over 1,000 snaps in three of the last four seasons. He’s been a sound tackler and had good ball production, recording at least three interceptions in four seasons and at least six pass breakups in three of his NFL seasons.

Moore will again see most of his snaps come from the nickel, but when the Colts are in base and have only two cornerbacks on the field, he will move to the boundary.
