The Kansas City Chiefs looked to rookie receiver Rashee Rice to score their second touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7.
After All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce caught a 53-yard pass to set up Patrick Mahomes in scoring position, the reigning MVP found Rice for a pretty touchdown in the back of the end zone.

Rice seemed to be one of Mahomes’ favorite options through six games and certainly impressed with this catch that gave Kansas City a seven-point lead after kicker Harrison Butker nailed his extra point.
The reception marked Rice’s third career touchdown and helped cement his spot as one of the NFL’s most productive rookie receivers in the 2023 draft class.
Expect this connection to continue bearing fruit for the Chiefs as Kansas City heads into the middle part of its schedule. With any luck, Rice should be able to continue capitalizing on every opportunity Mahomes provides for him.
