Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has already hosted a number of his teammates for throwing sessions down in Texas, but new receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has officially arrived for his work with Mahomes.
Last week, Mahomes was spotted throwing passes to a whole group of Chiefs receivers, tight ends and running backs. That group included Corey Coleman, Josh Gordon, Blake Bell, Ronald Jones, Derrick Gore, Mark Vital, Cornell Powell and Daurice Fountain.
You can check out some photos from those sessions down below:

Smith-Schuster, accompanied by his trainer Chris Flores, joined Mahomes and his trainer Bobby Stroupe down in Mahomes’ hometown for some offseason work this week. The two parties linked up to get some throwing in at All Saints Episcopal School in Tyler, Texas on Tuesday.
Check out Mahomes hitting Smith-Schuster on a quick out via Flores’ Instagram story:

With the departure of Tyreek Hill this offseason, building chemistry with all of his new receivers will be at the forefront of the offseason goals for Mahomes. Smith-Schuster figures to be one of Mahomes’ top targets in 2022 and sits firmly atop the receiver depth chart in Kansas City. Getting this work in now, ahead of OTAs, in order to build some early chemistry is a very encouraging sign of the type of rapport that will come between the two this season.
