The Kansas City Chiefs got out to a 19-point lead against the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card round of the playoffs after second-year running back Isiah Pacheco scampered for a clutch fourth-quarter touchdown.
Pacheco has been one of Kansas City’s most consistent players in the game and has provided the Chiefs’ offense a much-needed spark in the frigid conditions at Arrowhead Stadium.
Head coach Andy Reid called his name near the goal line late in the fourth quarter of the AFC heavyweight matchup, and Pacheco answered the call with a gritty run that added six points to Kansas City’s lead.
