The Kansas City Chiefs didn’t waste any time getting out to a third-quarter lead against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.
After receiving the second-half kickoff, Patrick Mahomes drove Kansas City’s offense down the field quickly, setting the Chiefs up with great field position after a gritty run picked up 24 yards to set his team up in the red zone.
A completion to Isiah Pacheco got Kansas City to the three-yard line, and a fast-developing screen pass to star tight end Travis Kelce got the Chiefs into the end zone to take the lead.

This pivotal play could prove to be the difference in this hotly contested matchup, which has seen several lead changes through two quarters and change.
Mahomes’ connection with Kelce may have been contained late in the regular season, but with plenty of time remaining in this game, the All-Pro duo may have even more fireworks in store for fans at Highmark Stadium.
