After John Lynch and the San Francisco 49ers made a blockbuster splash on trade deadline day with the acquisition of former Defensive Rookie of the Year Chase Young, the newest member of Kris Kocurek’s pass rush unit made a positive first impression against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Young quickly linked up with his former college teammate with the Ohio State Buckeyes Nick Bosa to collapse the pocket and sack Trevor Lawernce in the second quarter.
Not only did the former Buckeye duo link up for a sack, but they also forced a fumble on the play against Lawerence to give Brock Purdy and the 49ers’ offense the ball at midfield.
