The shooting – believed to be perpetrated by a student – took place at Abundant Life Christian School Monday in Madison, Wisconsin, according to police reported at a press conference.

The juvenile lone shooter is "down," police said without elaborating on a manner of death, according to the outlet. Officers did not fire their weapons.
"We're still going through, collecting evidence, collecting information, making sure that our community is safe from what is a sad day for our community and for our country," Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes told reporters at a press briefing following the shooting.
