WATCH: Celtic star's parents serenaded in local Glasgow bar

Nicolas Kuhn's parents were serenaded in a local Glasgow bar as Celtic defeated BSC Young Boys 1-0 to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League last night.

The German winger played 89 minutes of the hard-fought victory, coming off for Liam Scales late on as Brendan Rodgers looked to shore things up at the back.

Kuhn helped his side make history, and in Grace's Irish Sports Bar in Glasgow city centre, fans were clipped singing his song to his family.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a superb season to date, netting 16 goals and assisting 12 across 30 appearances in all competitions.

His brace against RB Leipzig earlier in his team's Champions League campaign was crucial, but it was an own goal that won it for the Scottish Premiership champions on Wednesday evening, with Loris Benito helplessly converting Celtic's winner after Adam Idah's initial shot was parried.

Now that Brendan Rodgers' side are into the promised land of the Champions League knockouts, fans are starting to dream after years of continual European despair.
