It’s been an interesting game so far for Ohio State in East Lansing as it deals with Michigan State on the road.
The Buckeyes had a quick stop on defense — thanks to an interception by Lathan Ramson on a deep ball — to get the ball for its first possession. Then Marvin Harrison Jr. did his thing and brought down a touchdown in traffic to put OSU up 7-0.
C.J. Stroud then followed that with a pick-six where it appeared he and receiver Emeka Egbuka were not on the same page. But that’s OK because Stroud and Egbuka seemed to have worked things out on the next series.
Stroud dropped back and found Egbuka wide open down the seam in a soft spot of the defense, hit him in stride, and Egbuka went the rest of the way behind the defense and took it to the house 69 yards to give Ohio State a 14-7 lead in the first quarter.

This is Ohio State’s first road game of the year and it’s still up for grabs. The Buckeyes are favored to win it big, but the interception return for a touchdown by Michigan State could give them a boost to stay in this game.
