The Los Angeles Rams may not have Aaron Donald anymore but Byron Young is there to remind everyone how good the pass rush can still be. On the Lions’ opening drive Sunday night, Young got the Rams defense off the field quickly with a third-down sack against Jared Goff.
He and Kobie Turner ran a stunt up front, with Turner drawing two blockers and allowing Young to loop inside for the quick sack. It went for a 9-yard loss and led to a punt by the Lions, a terrific way for the Rams defense to start the game after their own offense went three-and-out.

Young had eight sacks as a rookie in 2023 and he’s off to a hot start already.
