If Bryce Young had a nickel for every dime he’s thrown out of Dallas, he might’ve had enough for the plane ride back to Charlotte.
The highlights have continued to emerge out of Armstrong Fieldhouse at Southern Methodist University, where a few Carolina Panthers put in some offseason work together. And Young, the star of the trip, just added another play to the reel—this time, on a nuke to wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr.

Since Young has gotten plenty of run here lately, we’ll focus in on the other half of this spectacular connection in Shenault Jr.—who may be in for a bigger role this season. Head coach Frank Reich said the following about the fourth-year weapon back during organized team activities:
“I think Laviska has been one of those guys out here that’s looked good. We’ll continue to investigate the different roles that he can play. Obviously, even if we had this grandiose plan . . . which maybe we do. But I wouldn’t reveal that here, now—all the different ways you can use him.
“You look at guys like Deebo Samuel and stuff like that and you say, ‘Well, can Laviska do some of that stuff?’ Of course he can. We’ll experiment with some of that stuff. We’ll experiment with some of that stuff and see—some of it will get incorporated and some of it won’t.”
Hopefully for Reich and the Panthers, that throw and that catch get incorporated into the offense.
