The defense of the Cleveland Browns has absolutely owned the Arizona Cardinals’ offense from the beginning of the game. The Cardinals had a total of 31 yards of offense in the first half of the game. Defensive tackle Shelby Harris has joined the big play club after stripping Clayton Tune of the ball as it was recovered by Myles Garrett deep in Cardinals territory. This is one of three turnovers created on the day.
The offense was able to punch the ball into the end zone after the play from Harris. He was an underrated signing by general manager Andrew Berry and Cleveland late into training camp to help complete the defensive line makeover. The team needed the defense to show up today as Watson works his way back and so far so good.
The Cardinals just haven’t been able to do much of anything today against this Browns defense. It is hard to win in the NFL so you will take whatever you can get and it’s been a great game so far.
