So far, so good for quarterback Deshaun Watson to start Cleveland Browns training camp this year.
The quarterback position is the most important position on the field, and the team needs Watson to be the guy they traded multiple first-round picks to acquire.
Watson has participated in all three training camp practices so far, after only practicing every other practice during OTAs and mandatory minicamp. He also began throwing in 11-on-11 drills for the first time during the early camp practices and has looked sharp.
Camryn Justice posted a compilation video of his day three throws to social media, showing him looking good without medical restrictions. As I have said before, these practices, especially without pads, don’t mean much, but it is always good to see Watson looking sharp and healthy.
Watson’s next step and benchmark will be the first padded practice on Monday, as he will continue to participate in 11-on-11 drills.
