Watch the highlights from Fulham’s impressive 3-1 win over Brighton on Thursday night.
Alex Iwobi’s double lifts Fulham up to sixth in the Premier League table after a brilliant three points against a spirited Brighton outfit.
The game was played in extremely rainy conditions and strong winds, but it was Bart Verbruggen’s early mistake that gifted the hosts a surprise early lead.
The Dutchman’s short pass was intercepted by the former Arsenal and Everton midfielder, who made no mistake as he slotted the ball into an empty net.
The Seagulls then rallied back in the second half and deservedly equalised thanks to Carlos Baleba’s fine strike off the back of an elegant flick by Joao Pedro.
However, it was the Cottagers who claimed the victory thanks to Matt O’Reily’s own goal and Iwobi’s second goal of the match.
