Kyle Brandt of the NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” has a weekly segment he calls “Angry Runs.”
Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. is making his case to win the scepter for Week 12. Brandt awards a scepter to the weekly winner.
On Washington’s first possession of the day, Robinson caught a 14-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Taylor Heinicke, where he bowled over an Atlanta defender on his way to the score.
Brandt took notice on Twitter.

However, Robinson wasn’t done.
Later in the game, Robinson had more for the Falcons. Robinson made a nice move in the backfield, then was hit hard by an Atlanta defender. Instead of going down, Robinson regrouped and broke multiple tackles, including delivering another blow and picking up 10 yards and the first down.
Brian Robinson is having a breakout performance. Running so physically on a bunch of different gap scheme runs. Been fun to watch pic.twitter.com/Bn9ySTdQvv

Robinson is having a career game. In the fourth quarter of Washington’s game against the Falcons, Robinson has rushed for 100 yards on 16 attempts and caught two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown.
While Robinson would love to win the scepter, he’d prefer the Commanders win the game.
Brandt is certainly paying attention, though.
