The Boston Celtics continued making inroads on their record after a tough first half of the season with another big game from All-Star forward Jayson Tatum putting up a monster outing against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, helping the Celtics to improve to 33 – 25 on the season and securing sole possession of the Eastern Conference’s sixth-place slot.
The St. Louis native put up 38 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks in a team-high 40 minutes of playing time, shooting 13-of-27 overall and 4-of-10 from deep, as well as hitting 8-of-9 attempts from the stripe to lead the team in scoring on the night.
