Former Hearts loanee Ben Woodburn was on target for Preston North End as he bids to win a deal with the English Championship club.
The attacker spent last season on loan with Robbie Neilson's side from Liverpool and featured 30 times in all competitions. He netted three times and provided two further assists in a stunning campaign for the Tynecastle side as they finished third behind Celtic and Rangers and reached the Scottish Cup Final. A European adventure awaits the Jambos with guaranteed group stage football in the Europa Conference League the minimum heading to the capital with the Gorgie side entering the Europa League play-off round.
Woodburn played his part in the success last term but he's on the look out for a new club following his exit from Anfield and he showed exactly what he has to offer as he expertly finished following some lovely build-up play from the Ryan Lowe's side.

They ran out 3-0 winners against Bamber Bridge as they continue preparations ahead of another season in England's second tier.
The North End boss was full of praise for the former Hearts man hailing him a 'quality footballer' and claimed the trialist has 'done fine'
Speaking to the official club website, he said: “Ben Woodburn’s a quality footballer, we know that.
“I said to him before the game ‘go and showcase what you can do’ and he’s done that.
“I thought his jump on them every time we were pressing was fantastic. His game knowledge [means] he knows what to do and when to drop down.
“Him and Ben Whiteman had a good little interchange in there which was pleasing. His goal was a class goal, great link-up and he puts it in the bottom corner so we know what Ben Woodburn’s got, he’s got fantastic qualities and he’s done fine.”
