Watch as repairs begin on Celtic Park roof damage after Storm Eowyn

Repair work is underway to fix the damage caused at Celtic Park as a result of Storm Eowyn.

The Scottish Premiership match between Celtic and Dundee had to be postponed on Saturday over safety concerns.

Strong winds on Friday had caused damage to the stadium with the decision made to postpone the match on Saturday morning. It will now be played on February 5 with a 7.45pm kick-off time.

Now, video footage has emerged online showing repair works to the roof at Celtic Park.

The clip - posted on X by Matt McGlone - shows two workers working to repair panelling on the stadium roof.

The pair - harnessed in below a set of lights at the stadium - are working together in an effort to refit panelling that was blown off in the storm.

"Unfortunately, due to the stadium damage sustained yesterday we have been advised that we are unable to proceed with today's match.

"While clearly this is disappointing, the safety of our supporters will always be our priority.

"The rearranged fixture will take place on February 5, 2025 with a 7.45pm kick-off."
