Watch as Nicola Sturgeon learns TikTok dance with Scots school kids

Nicola Sturgeon has been working on her TikTok dance moves with Scots school children.

The First Minister was captured on video performing the online dance during a visit to the Glenboig Life Centre in North Lanarkshire.

She had been meeting with care experienced young people yesterday to hear what this year's theme of community meant to them.

The video shows her trying to keep up with the talented youngsters from Buchanan High School by copying their moves, but admitted she had 'no idea what she was doing'.

The SNP leader wore a purple suit while giving the routine her best shot which left the youngsters beaming with excitement.

One of the pupils then revealed the video leaving the First Minister in stitches at the final result.

First Minister twitter account posted yesterday: "Nicola Sturgeon visited Glenboig Life Centre today to mark #CareDay22.

"The FM met with care experienced young people, and their carers and families, to hear what this year's theme of community meant to them, and re-affirm @scotgov's commitment to #KeepThePromise by 2030."
