Watch Arsenal Vs Dinamo Zagreb highlights as the Gunners put on a convincing display on home soil to stay on course for automatic Champions League knockout qualification.
Declan Rice opened the scoring after less than two minutes. Gabriel Martinelli’s cross from the left was laid back to Rice by Kai Havertz, with the England midfielder blasting a low strike into the bottom corner to give Arsenal the lead.
The hosts went close to doubling their lead several times before the break, narrowly heading wide from a corner before Martinelli fired one straight at the keeper from distance.
But Mikel Arteta’s men didn’t grab a second goal until after the hour mark. That came through Havertz, who rose highest to meet another sumptuous cross from Martinelli and head home.
Skipper Martin Odegaard then sealed the victory in stoppage time. The Norwegian international arrived late into the box to tap in Leandro Trossard’s deflected cross.
Dinamo Zagreb didn’t land a glove on Arsenal in truth, failing to register a single shot on target.
The Croatian side were totally outmatched and could have easily conceded several more.
