What an absolutely brutal loss for the Los Angeles Lakers Thursday against the L.A. Clippers.
The Lakers played without LeBron James for the fifth straight game because the star forward is dealing with knee soreness. The Clippers did not have Kawhi Leonard or Paul George.
The Lakers trailed by 17 points in the third quarter until Russell Westbrook broke out of a funk and sparked a comeback that resulted in the Lakers taking the lead.
Both teams exchanged big buckets in the final minute, and any of them could’ve been the winner. For the Clippers, that shot belonged to Reggie Jackson’s layup with 4.1 seconds remaining.

Davis finished with 30 points on 12-of-24 shooting, 17 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 38 minutes on the second night of a back-to-back.
